Community Genotyping Program
AgriPlex Genomics is providing plant and animal breeders the opportunity to use PlexSeq SNP genotyping panels at a discounted price and quick turnaround. In collaboration with consortia, we have constructed organism-specific SNP panels that can be used throughout the year, as your needs require.

Turn around time: Receive your PlexCall data in 2 to 3 weeks. QA/QC panels could have a quicker turnaround time. Contact AgriPlex for details.

No sample minimum: Panels will be run every month if there is at least 1 (96) well plate of samples in house

Hybrid collective discount/ credit system: Participants will receive a collective discount based on the total number of samples submitted for each panel that is then yours to use as a credit towards your future APC project (credit expires 1 year from the date of issue).

How to submit through AgriPlex Connect
1. Contact Us
Please contact us to express interest in submitting for an AgriPlex Connect panel run. You can either send us a message through the website, or email apc@agriplexgenomics.com

2. Approve Your Quote
Next, we will issue you a quote based on your individual sample count for you to approve. After the submission deadline, your will be informed if there was a collective discount applied. All Quote requests must be submitted by the 25th of the month.
3. Read Sample Submission Guidelines
Please carefully read our instructions on how to correctly prepare and ship your samples.
4. Purchase Order
We will begin your project after we receive your Purchase order (PO), which can be submitted to orders@agriplexgenomics.com. Your PO will not be processed until after the community deadline.

5. Sample List
Complete your Sample List and submit to support@agriplexgenomics.com.
Please include your tracking number on the sample list.

6. Submit By the last working day of the month
In order to be included in the AgriPlex Connect community run each month, you must submit your samples by the last working day. If received late, we will communicate with you and roll your panel into the next monthly run
​
7. Receive Data
Receive your data in the form of a consolidated PlexCall report which include genotype calls, allele reads, and a quality control summary.

When are panels run?
APC will be run on an ongoing basis every month for all panels. We are collecting samples for all APC panels throughout the entire year and run them on the 1st of the month (if the 1st falls on a weekend, it will be run the following Monday)​.

The development of PlexSeq SNP Panels:
AgriPlex Genomics coordinates the creation of various crop and livestock specific consortia. Each consortium consists of research professionals from both academia and industry. We are actively working to create new panels and update existing ones.
​
Those interested in the creation, development, or improvement of a PlexSeq panel will meet together virtually to define relevant genetic markers for current and upcoming panels.
